IS LEADERSHIP AN EASY TASK

                                       


Every Company has a vision.  This vision shapes up automatically if one has the 'intent' and 'will'.
There is no substitute for hard work.  Work not only for power or position but have the genuine intent to work for the people and for the Company.  Work right from the beginning and not at the last moment.

The Company sets up a team with a leader who examines the Company's functioning and gives feedback to higher authorities .  Leaders should remember that power flows through them and not from them. They must encourage others to speak and listen carefully.  If leaders seem to behave as they know everything and do have have the listening power but like lecturing, they don't learn anything new but only share what they know so there is no value addition to their knowledge.  

Have a warm and open minded attitude so that everyone feels comfortable in the working atmosphere.  In fact, Leaders must be clear and precise on what they want to accomplish and give the team enough freedom to take decisions within the desired framework.  Likewise the team should also value the time and always speak the truth and to the point related to their work and keep their leaders updated.  

Dealing with customers is a delicate job.  Leaders should have the courtesy to tackle their problems on priority as wrong handling can have a negative impact on the Company.  At times it is not possible to meet the expectation of every customer but it is possible to talk to them respectfully and explain the situation directly.  A group of leaders are convinced of their own genius and do not feel the need to consult anyone.  In reality, it is always good to take a second opinion or get new ideas from higher authorities.

As a leader, everything you do is seen and noted by all.  At times your ego is exposed.  If you lack confidence ,you may have the fear of failure for which you do not get sympathy and you need to overcome all this and come up.  This position is of a big challenge.  It's like you wanted the job , you took up this position and now you get the financial results.  You have to take the pressure that goes with it.  You  work hard to get this position but once you reach this position don't slow down.  Remember you have made the task easy.   PREPARE AND PREVENT is better than REPAIR AND REPENT
