AUGUST 29 NATIONAL SPORTS DAY

A passion, a dream, a vision, a champion all in one sportsman is proud to be an active participant in National Sports Day.  India reminds us of many sporting legends.  Some of them are remembered by their nicknames  - P.T. Usha is known as Udanpari , Sachin Tendulkar is known as Master Blaster and our superhero Major Dhyan Chand is know as Hockey Wizard.   Winners never quit.  They have emerged victorious, won laurels, become great leaders with strong team spirit and became role models to the young generation.

National Sports Day as also called Rashtriya Khel Divas is celebrated in honour of birthday of Indian patriot Major Dhyan Chand , three time Olympiad gold medal winner who was born on 29 August 1905 in Allahabad.  Also the National Stadium of Delhi was renamed as Major Dhyan Chand Stadium Delhi.  On this day President of India gives out the sports awards like Dronacharya Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, Arjuna Award and of course Major Dhyan Chand Singh Award.

A sound mind is more important for a sound body.  The introduction of Mobile and Computers have hooked the younger generation to the screens who tend to forget the enjoyment and fun of sports.  Instead of getting isolated and inviting negative thoughts to make a nest in your mind , it is better you promote sports to improve your health and life, love sports to remain physically fit and balance sports along with your studies which is an impressive way even to learn life lessons.  Sports can be a best theraphy to get rid of all long term illness like Obesity, Diabetes, Stroke, High Cholostrol, High Blood Pressure, Joint pains and many more .  Sports help to make body more flexible and responsive .In fact, it can bring endless number of benefits in your personal as well as professional life.

Healthy and happy people make proper life decisions and advise very wise solutions as and when required as they are confident and self motivated.  They have seen success and failure.  If they have failed they have made it a point to bounce back and have the patience to listen to their inner voice which says they have a delay in success.  They have not given up and this is because they are more disciplined, have responsibility, self confidence , team spirit and the skill to sacrifice.  They learn a lot from their experience and become the best coaches.

The upcoming generation must involve maximum time in sport and the crucial thing is that they should get enough support from their parents to participate in any sport of their choice.  To have a sense of friendliness, to give body the shape and make it strong and active  a person must indulge in Sports at an early age.
