WORLD TOURISM DAY - SEPTEMBER 27


 We travel for fulfillment.  Our journey starts with a single step and then crosses thousands of miles.  Travelling does not mean going only to a foreign country.  We need to travel in our own country first and enjoy the beauty of nature starting with places close by .  It is only then we come to know what we have experienced rather than what is heard from others.  Travelling is living . It is all about learning,  It is breathing fresh air .  It gives positive energy.  It is like conquering space and time.  

Tourism is the biggest Industry.  World Tourism Day is observed on 27 September every year to raise the importance of tourism worldwide.  The aim of celebrating World Tourism Day is to highlight the global significance of tourism.  Countries all over the world whether big or small depend upon tourism for its economic survival.  The purpose is to make the people aware how tourism affects not only the economic values of a country but also the social, political and cultural values of the country.

Travel makes you rich and modest.  When you start travelling you become speechless as you are engrossed in the beauty of nature.  You are carried away into another world.  The reality of a place is quite different from the mythology of it. After you finish travelling you become a good story teller.  The memories remain with you for long.  The world is a book and those who do not travel just read one page of a book.  Life is short.  If you get a chance, do not make any excuses.  You will not regret once you travel because you are covering the pages of the book.  You can be a good writer sharing all your experiences.  


India is a great country and here we have  many tourism options.  We have many tourists agencies that give us the opportunity to explore.  When you travel you meet new people, you do new things, you look beyond what is right in front of you and you understand the amazing world that you live in.  A tourist will come drawn to its beautiful past but we need to put efforts for creating systems to make them stay here.  A traveler without observation is a bird without wings.  The world is more fantastic than any dream as it is worth travelling.


India is famous for its diversity.  People should be made aware of our Heritage and Culture. We must protect our flora and fauna.  India can offer tourists various cuisines, adventurous places, history, music forms, languages etc .  The tourists departments can provide opportunities for innovation and create jobs for future generations.  It  is a source of Income and can tackle poverty.  Tourism is one of the biggest industry that employs people and is good for economy.  Let's be real and make the impossible .  We travel not to escape life but for Life not to escape us.

Covid-19 pandemic related lockdowns, flight cancellations and border closures have devastated the tourism sector and the year 2020 has predicted that nearly 120 million jobs are at risk causing unprecedented change in the international tourism industry.  Let us wait and hope for the best.

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar died in Mumbai on Wednesday 7 July 2021 at the age of 98

  Dilip Kumar was born Mohammed Yusuf Khan on  11 December 1922       known as "Yusuf Sahab" to many people.   He changed his name to Dilip Kumar on the advice of Hindi film legend, Devika Rani, who had hired him for Bombay Talkies.   He was a very good  football player at school, and was the secretary of his school's football association.  He   was very soft-spoken in real life and he credits his parents for this, pointing out that his mother was very gentle and his father never shouted even when he was upset.  , Dilip Kumar was the biggest star to be discovered by Actor Raj Kapoor. They both  lived close to each other and went to the same college (Khalsa College).   His proficiency in Urdu got him a job in Bombay Talkies (owned by the legendary Devika Rani) in 1942, as a script writer.
