LEGAL SERVICE DAY NOV 9

Children at an early age should be aware about the Constitutional rights and laws relating to them.  They must be aware of child labor, the rights and duties towards their parents, towards society and nation, the welfare centers opened for weaker sections, disabled people, old people and how much important it is to visit these centers and be a part of it.

LEGAL SERVICE DAY is observed every year on November 9 to spread awareness of rights in society , to ensure fair justice process for all citizens, to see that nobody is denied social and public facilities and they are treated equal.  Awareness is made through various channels, newspapers, TV, radio or any other social media platforms. The backward classes or the weaker and lower class people can avail free services and they are made conscious about their legal rights.

Domestic violence is rapidly increasing day by day.  We need to focus on this and find a solution.   Legal literacy is lacking in many areas and we need to increase legal awareness amongst the masses.  The Legal Services Authorities Act was enforced on 9th November 1995 by NALSA which stands for National Legal Service Authority who laid the foundation for Legal Service Day.  They emphasis on making the masses aware of the legal rights and services.

THE HIGHEST FORM OF IGNORANCE IS WHEN YOU REJECT SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT.
